New for 2021! AGSTC is soliciting 2-3 minute pre-recorded research talks from all students of seafood science. A winner will be chosen from all submissions and awarded a $500 prize.
Guidelines
All presentations must be a maximum of 3 minutes and in the following format:
The lightning talk can take many forms, a voice over of a traditional poster, a produced short video, but the content should be compelling and describe what research you have been doing and what its impact will be on seafood science moving forward.
It is important to keep it simple; you only have 3 minutes after all.

There are many resources available online as to how to record your video, some examples are below:

- Maximum resolution: 1920 x 1080 (Full HD)

- Make a brief introduction of yourself/school, introduce your current research, what is unique about it, and its potential impact on seafood science or the seafood industry.
- Keep the visuals simple and not too crowded, focus on your verbal description and use the images/videos to support your statements.

- Record within PowerPoint on your computer
- Record on a free Zoom Account on your computer
- Record on your phone or a camera and use computer software such as iMovie (on Mac OS)
